Dear Parents of our Senior Class,
On Tuesday, February 18, 2020, before the start of the varsity basketball game, Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School will hold its annual Senior Recognition Night to honor those seniors who have participated in our extra-curricular programs over the past four years.
- Your student has been given a questionnaire to complete for participation in the ceremony. The questionnaire includes: if they will participate in the ceremony, a list of extra-curricular activities they have participated in while in high school, and parents name(s) for the ceremony. We will use the information on the form as completed by the student.
- Pictures of the participating seniors and parents will be taken by The Daily Register during the 3rd quarter of the JV game. Seniors and parents should go to the Home Economics classroom at the end of the JV game’s half time (around 6:30) for photos. These pictures will be taken outside of the Home Economics room in front of the Wildcat.
- After the pictures have been taken, the student and parents will line up in alphabetical order in the hallway outside of the Ag classroom.
- At the conclusion of the JV game, we will introduce the students and parents. As they are being announced, the student and parents will enter the gym through the side doors, receive a flower from the cheerleaders, and walk down the center of the floor toward the stage, lining up to face the home crowd.
- After everyone has been recognized and lined up across the gym, we will thank all of the senior athletes and parents for their participation. There will be a final applause. You may then leave the floor as you wish.
Thanks to everyone for all that you have contributed during these past years.
