The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School Cross Country team ran in the West Frankfort Invitational on September 12. The girls results were: Abby Whiting (48th Place) 26:16 and Emma Odum (68) 30:30. For the boys results: Aidan Rollins (22nd Place) 18:11, Robbie Hadley (26) 18:30, Lester York (66) 21:06, Brandon Hambleton (73) 21:32, Jacob Reeves (73) 21:33, Kyle Bristow (88) 22:30, D.C. Stout (94) 24:00, Malaki Metcalf 22:26, and Dalton Stevers 28:28
Cross Country Coach Mike Eisenhauer said, "I thought the kids ran pretty well today for running in some really hot conditions. All of our times came down from last week. I was very happy with their effort. There were 24 teams competing today and our kids held their own."
