The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School Service Club members participated in a town wide clean-up on September 28. These students showed up, in the heat, Saturday morning from 9:00-11:00 am to clean up the town. They helped Mr. Scott Figg unload playground equipment, they cleaned the High School, Grade School, the Town Park, the other park by the Grade School, the Millstone parking lot area, and uptown down Main Street and Mill Street. There was a car show uptown. The people were so excited to see teenagers helping out that the Masons offered them free hot dogs and BBQ for volunteering. Mrs. Samantha Craig, the Service Club Sponsor said, "It was a good morning for the Wildcats."
Members of the Service Club Clean-Up Crew were: Ava Craig, Abby Whiting, Addi Prather, Abbey Zertuche, Eli Felty, Ethan Morse, Aidan Rollins, Caden VanMeter, Faith Vinson, Abbi Musgraves, Kaylee Horn, Colton Mitchell, Devanie Stout, Madison Murphy, and Emma Odum.
