The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School Cross Country team ran at West Frankfort on October 1. For the girls Senior Abby Whiting finished in 17th Place with a time of 24:18 and Sophomore Emma Odum finished with a time of 29:23. In the boys' race Sophomore Aidan Rollins won 2nd Place with a time of 17:34 and Freshman Robbie Hadley finished 6th with a time of 18:01. The rest of the team: Brandon Hambleton (24) 20:01, Jacob Reeves (26) 20:22, Malaki Metcalf (27) 20:24, D.C Stout (56) 25:08, Mason Kalodner (64) 27:35, and Dalton Stevers (66) 29:43.
Coach Eisenhauer said, "Aidan ran another strong race. He was second out of 70 runners. Robbie continues to impress as he is only a freshman. Abby ran well today also. I was glad to see Jacob and Malaki close the gap and get closer to the number three spot."
