The Carrier Mills-Stonefort Wildcats (10-2) won both varsity matches Wednesday against the Galatia Bearcats by scores of 220-50 and 180-50.
The Wildcats are 3-0 against Galatia this season, handing them their only loss in last week’s conference tournament and two more today.
Junior Jade Nalley scored 110 points in the first match and 100 points in the second match.
Sophomore Brayden Harmon scored 120 points in the JV Wildcats’ 1st win of the season, leading them to a 250-160 win over the JV Bearcats.
The JV Wildcats dropped the back half of their doubleheader with Galatia’s JV team by a score of 180-80. Harmon scored 50 in that match.
In the two varsity matches, Nalley scored a combined 210 points, senior captain Brianna Cullers scored 80, sophomore Lilian Crawford scored 50, Harmon scored 40, sophomore Jaxon Layman scored 10, and sophomore Bailee Odum scored 10.
In the two JV matches, Harmon scored a combined 170 points, sophomore Brayden Kirk scored 90, sophomore JV captain Taylor Dombrow scored 40, and Odum scored 30.
The Wildcats are off until next week, when they look to avenge last week’s GEC tournament loss to Pope County on Feb. 7.
