Carrier Mills-Stonefort CUSD 2

In their home opener on Tuesday, December 3, the Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School scholar bowl teams completed a season sweep of the Galatia Bearcats. The varsity Wildcats (4-1) won 350-170 over Galatia. Senior captain Jade Nalley scored a career-high 280 points. Freshman Jeremiah Beck scored 40, senior Carson Van Dyke scored 10, junior Brayden Kirk scored 10, and sophomore Olivia Hunt scored 10 in the varsity match. The junior varsity Wildcats (2-3) won 250-140 over the JV Bearcats. Hunt and freshman captain Khloe Kidd each led the JV Wildcats with 70 points apiece. Beck and freshman Maddison Ellis each scored 40 in the JV match. Freshman Summer Janaskie scored 20, and freshman Brielle Fox scored 10. The Wildcats are off until next Tuesday, Dec. 10, when they host Crab Orchard at home.
