The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School held its annual Pink Out Basketball game vs. Gallatin County on February 4. All proceeds from the game went to the CMSF Pink Out Fund, which is money used to assist southern Illinois families battling cancer. The event was coordinated by Mrs. Laura Dombrow, along with the assistance of the Gallatin County Basketball team, Cheerleaders, Coaches, Students, the CMSF Basketball team, Cheerleaders, Coaches, Students, Action Sports in Paducah, Mrs. Mariah Dennison, Mrs. Erin Humm, Mrs. Kristy Dunn, Mrs. Kayla Brasher, Mrs. Michelle Murphy, Mrs. Samantha Craig, Mrs. Emily Scott, Mrs. Jordan Austin, Mr. Gary Ryan, Mr. Drake Patton, Dr. Ben Vinyard, and Mr. Bryce K. Jerrell.
Several Carrier Mills-Stonefort Clubs assisted with the fundraiser as well. The Student Council sold Baked Goods, the FFA ran the Concession Stand, the Cheerleaders held a 50/50 Raffle, the CMSF Faculty & Staff held a Raffle for several Gift Baskets, and the Service Club & Pep Club provided Face Painting and Hair Extensions. The players and coaches from both teams had sponsors for their team uniforms.
