School Closed

On Friday, April 17, the Illinois Governor announced that schools will remained closed for the rest of the 2019-2020 school year due to the coronavirus.

During this school closure, the kitchen staff will continue to provide breakfast and lunch to your child/young adult each Monday through Friday. This will continue until the last day of school, which is Tuesday, May 19.

Also, the teachers will continue to provide your student with learning opportunities through the E-Learning Packets. Packet #1 (covering material from March 17-March 30) was due on April 9. Packet #2 (covering material from March 31-April 9) was due on April 17. Packet #3 (covering material from April 15-April 29 should have been picked up on April 15. Packet #3 will be due on May 1.

If you still need a packet, you may pick them up at the Grade School or the High School from 8:00-12:00 each Monday through Friday. Feel free to call ahead so that we can have the packets copied and ready for you to pick up. The Grade School number is (618) 994-2413 and the High School number is (618) 994-2392. If you still have a completed packet and it is past the deadline, please turn the packet in as soon as possible. Students will be given an INCOMPLETE until the work has been turned in.

The final E-Learning Packet will be ready for pick-up on April 30. Packet #4 (covering material from April 30-May 15) will be due on May 15. This will give teachers time to grade the completed work on May 18 and May 19, so final grades can be posted for every student.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your student's teacher at anytime.
