Attention Wildcat Community: On June 26 Illinois will move to Phase 4 of Governor Pritzker's 5-Phase plan to reopen Illinois. The order was followed by guidance from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) on the next step for our schools.
The five main requirements during Phase 4 are:
A) Require use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including face coverings;
B) Prohibit more than 50 individuals from gathering in one space;
C) Require social distancing be observed as much as possible;
D) Require that schools conduct symptom screenings and temperature checks or require that individuals self-certify that they are free of symptoms before entering school buildings; and
E) Require an increase in school-wide cleaning and disinfection.
