Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School Senior catcher Jeremy Choat signed his National Letter of Intent on December 8 to play at Carl Sandburg College for Coach Josh Foreman next year. The Carl Sandburg College baseball program has won seven Arrowhead Conference championships in its history (1974, 1982, 1987, 1989, 2008, 2018, and 2019). Home games are played at the William "Bill" Hungate Baseball/Softball Complex on the Main Campus in Galesburg, Illinois. CMSF Wildcat Head Baseball Coach Allen Jackson said, "Jeremy is the only player I’ve coached that has started every game since 5th grade. He is a great hitter that hits for average and power, defensively he is outstanding. His knowledge of the game is off the charts. And although he is very talented he works hard to be better. More importantly Jeremy is a kind, thoughtful and caring person. It has been an honor to coach him and see him grow up."
