In Game #2, the Freshmen Class, Waite's Warriors, took on the Sophomore Class, Klope's Fighting Illini. It was a defensive shut-down for the first two and a half innings, with the score tied at 0-0. In the bottom half of the third, Sophomore Braydon Owens kicked a single, which scored one run. This was the only run scored for the entire game. The Sophomores moved on to the Championship Game with the 1-0 victory and the Freshmen moved to the Consolation Bracket.
